Siren Socks Dallas Fort Worth | Foot Monitoring System Irving TexasPrevention of diabetic ulcers is an extremely important aspect of diabetic care. Siren socks are a new innovation that can assist in Diabetic wound prevention. They work by monitoring the temperature of your feet, which allows our physicians to remotely monitor for ‘hot spots’ before they become a bigger problem.

These socks, worn daily, will take the temperature of your feet and notify your physician about problem areas early on. This technology allows your foot to be monitored in between exams and can help prevent wounds that lead to infection, hospitalization, and even amputation. When it comes to diabetic wounds timing is very important and catching a problem area on your foot early can make a huge difference.

The data from wearing these socks daily will provide your physician with another tool to monitor your feet and care for them between visits. They don’t require anything more than to wear the socks, so there’s no added effort.

Dr. Holcomb and her whole staff on a scale of one to ten, I would rate an eleven to twelve. She has operated on both of my feet and the experience was exactly what I was expecting and hoping for. In these days it seems like customer service has been tossed out. Dr. Holcomb and her staff all listened to my concerns and stepped up to the plate to get those concerns addressed. Trisha and the other ladies always made time for me, where polite and made me not only feel welcome but that I was the most important person there. I highly recommend this dr’s office and while I’m hoping to never return, this will be the place I go if I ever have foot problems in the future.

Wow. I’m blown away by my experience at this practice. From the first person maricelle who picked up the phone and scheduled me , to Linda who got all the info from my insurance .. to Gabe the MA who greeted me and took my x rays - who by the way was so knowledgeable himself. Even more so I was blown away by Dr Schmidt with his knowledge and ability to explain exactly why my foot was hurting and didn’t even focus just on my feet it was all related to the whole body. Got great insoles that immediately relieved my pain as well. What a great office dynamic - you know they’re doing something right when all the staff is happy and accommodating and doctor actually has time to talk to you. 100/10 recommend !! Shout out to Ayesha for her calming presence as well !

I've seen Dr. Holcombe for many years. She, her team of doctors, and the support staff are knowledgeable, thorough, pleasant, and caring.

Most recently, I needed urgent care. Dr. Todd Lewis responded to my after hours message with valuable advice, Dr. Schmitz was able to see me the next morning, treating my infection and recommending a treatment plan that included meds and a special boot. The foot is doing fine now.

The opportunity to make an appointment on short notice is a definite plus for this practice.

Had my appointment yesterday 07/24/2024 with Dr. Stephen Schmitz. He was very nice and very informative of everything! Went over everything that was going on with my foot. I have plantar fascitis and arthritis on top of my foot and 3 little toes are a little deformed. He even went over the type of surgery he would do if I ever have to go that route. The nurse was very nice too. Great place to go for your feet and or ankle. Thank you so much!

The care I’ve received the past few months from Dr. Holcombe, Gabe, and every member of the staff has been exceptional! If I’d known how much better my feet could feel I would have had them “fixed” years ago. Doctor Holcombe operated on each foot to correct painful bunions and toes. I have well controlled diabetes but still have to be careful not to cut or injure my feet. Dr. Holcombe has a wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience caring for individuals with diabetes. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. I appreciate the kindness, patience and care I’ve received from every individual I’ve interacted with at North Texas Foot and Ankle.

I was able to book a same day, new patient appointment for my son. Everyone in this office was welcoming and kind. Dr. Schmidt was so great with my teenager and his foot needs as a long distance runner. I loved the doctor's energy and he did a great job explaining everything to my son.
